Our team has had many years of experience in the surgical and conservative
treatment of complex vision disorders.

Christian Heuberger, MD
Born in 1959. Medical School in Düsseldorf with stays in
the USA, Africa and Switzerland. Thesis defense for doctorate
title in 1987. Residency in ophthalmology at the Eye Clinic Braunschweig.
Ophthalmologist since 1991.
Leading Senior Physician at the Eye Clinic Bielefeld until 1993.
Founded the Eye Clinic Wolfsburg late 1993.
So far, Dr. Heuberger has performed more than 25,000 surgical
procedures on the eye and has specialized in Excimer laser surgery
since 1993. He performs all procedures of refractive surgery as
well as other surgeries on the anterior and posterior eye (cataract,
glaucoma, pars plana vitrectomy). |

Ira Heuberger, MD
Born in 1963. Medical School in Mainz and Trier with stay in the
USA. Thesis defense for doctorate title in 1989. Residency in ophthalmology
in Dusiburg and Trier.
Ophthalmologist since 1993. Senior Physician at the Eye Clinic in
Trier until 1995. At the Eye Clinic in Wolfsburg since 1995. Dr.
Ira Heuberger performs procedures of refractive lens surgery and
is furthermore specialized in plastic and cosmetic as well as reconstructive
procedures, strabismus surgery and procedures on the anterior part
of the eye (cataract, glaucoma). |
